Abstract We establish the existence of a solution to the problem x^"(t) ∈ F(t, x(t), x'(t)) p.p. t ∈ (0,1), x ∈ B, where F is a multi-valued mapping of the lower semi-continuous type satisfying a Bernstein-Nagumo type growth condition, and where B corresponds to a periodic or Dirichlest boundary condition.
