A necessary condition for global Stein immersion of compact CR-manifolds

Abstract In this paper we derive necessary conditions for the global immersion of a compact CR-manifold, of any type, n C^N for some N; or more generally, in a Stein manifold. These conditions are stated in terms of the cohomology groups of the CR-tangential complexes.
