Kinetic models for cytokine-mediated tumor-immune system interaction
Abstract: We consider the set of nonlinear integro-differential equations governing the competition between tumor cells and immune system at a kinetic level. According to a recently proposed model, effects of cytokines on the evolution problem are analyzed by both analytical and numerical techniques. The model allows several different dynamical trends and bifurcation phenomena for varying immunological parameters. A sample of illustrative results are presented and briefly discussed.
