Abstract: Vakonomic systems may be considered singular Lagrangian ones, using the multipliers as additional variables. The recent geometrical approach to degenerate Lagrangians, developed in the framework of Lagrangian bundles, is here applied to the study of time-dependent vakonomic dynamics. Some illustrative applications to Mechanics, Economy and analog circuits are given.
