Bitopological -compact spaces

Abstract: The concept of a-compactness [8] in single topological spaces has been generalized to bitopological spaces introduced by Kelly [6]. Some new bitopological separation axioms have been introduced to interpret the properties of a-compact spaces in the bitopological setting. Apart from this parallel to, some pertinent questions of the existing literature in respect to compactness have been solved. Profuse examples have been provided in support of every statement made in the form of Definition, Lemma or Remark.
